RISE PROGRAM (VOLUNTEERING WITH REFUGEES)

Volunteers who are having direct contact with refugees must complete three (3) online mandatory trainings and quizzes: 

1)   Training TRAUMA INFORMED CARE

       Quiz Trauma Informed Care 

2)   Training REFUGEE 101

       Quiz Refugee 101

3)   Training CULTURAL HUMILITY (SENSITIVITY)

       Quiz Cultural Humility 

Another fourth (4th) training (Jewish Family Services of Delaware Onboarding) will be necessary to complete in person once a refugee family has been identified and a volunteer is ready to be matched. Please contact the volunteer coordinator via email at vcerbov@jfsdelaware.org to schedule time to complete the in-person or Zoom training.
